Jude 20-25

**Note: Toward the end of our study, a question was raised in regard to verse 23, Jude’s instruction to “on some have mercy with fear, hating even the garment polluted by the flesh,” asking if Jude was also warning the person seeking to restore such a one, against being drawn into that defilement themselves. I had taken a different tack on Jude’s meaning there, but I do think that the point was well made, and that it is more consistent with Jude’s overall intention in the letter (to warn against false teachers and the effect they can have) than the explanation that I gave. I felt it was important to share that with you all, and I apologize if I caused any confusion!
